"We booked an eight day group tour through Tour Radar with Sunrise Sri Lanka. Daya our tour guide showed us many interesting places from temples, shrines, tea plantation, moonstone mine, herbal farm and more. The highlight of our trip was the Elephant Transit Home in Udawalawe where we watched the feeding of the elephants. The Jeep Safari in the Yala National Park was also a great adventure. We saw elephant families in the wild and also a Leopard and many more animals. Daya is a very experienced guide with great knowledge of the country. Amongst many temples he showed us in Kandy the Sacred Temple of the tooth of Buddha during a ceremony. However, we booked a group tour and landed up on our own with the Guide. We learned that May was not a tourist time in Sri Lanka and this might have been the reason for a personal tour rather a group tour." - Trip Advisor

"We have just completed a 17 day tour of Sri Lanka with Sunrise Sri Lanka Tours and it was excellent. We had planned to do the discover SL tour but on the suggestion of Christopher from Sunrise we were able to add Trincomlee and change the direction of the tour so we started in Colombo and finished in Negombo. Our driver/guide Ruwan was a very careful driver and spoke good english and was very flexible on the starting times for each day and changing the daily itinerary to meet our needs. We had a comfortable 7 seater van so plenty of room for luggage and to stretch out. Sri Lanka is an amazing country and the tour was varied with lovely beaches, jungle safaris, mountain walks with unbelievable views and traditional Buddha temples. The accomodation was varied but most were of a high standard although some did have limited wifi access but that didn't cause us any issues. The tour was evenly paced, with free afternoons to enjoy hotel pools or a walk along the beach. There is no way we could have done this trip on our own and seen as much as we did. Everything worked like clockwork so I would suggest contacting Sunrise Sri Lanka direct and letting Cristopher and his team organise an unforgettable trip of Sri Lanka. 5 stars!" - Trip Advisor

"It was an amazing holiday with a rich and varied itinerary. Being over new years it was busy and crowded at times, with a lot of traffic for the guide to have to deal with. Even so, it is certainly a tour I would recommend. My guide Sena, was tremendous. He shared his knowledge, was very supportive and great company. He made the trip enjoyable and informative, providing understanding and insight into the culture of Sri Lanka. Thank you, I feel I experienced and learnt a lot in only 15 days." - Tour Radar
